Mathis Pfäffli (born in Lucerne in 1983) is an artist and graphic designer who lives and works in Zurich. He studied graphic design at the HGK Lucerne and furthered his studies in illustration at HAW in Hamburg as well as a Master in Fine Arts at Institut Kunst Basel.
His surreal drawings and sculptural assemblages made from found objects and revolve around themes such as growth, decay, and playful rules, but also history of mark-making and form.
